Valve City Furniture sent me for testing and!?
Had a interview with my local valve city furniture store last week. they call me over the weekend and setup a day/time for me to go take a stress test. So i do and pass it,next day we come home in the evening to a phone message from a lady in the office. she said we wanted to have you come in at 10 today and fill out some more papers and then at 1:00 go for a O-DOT test. Please call us back if this doesn’t work for you. Well my wife had to work at 7am-3:30 and we have no babysitter. So i called back and left her a message as she was already gone for the day. Waited till they opened today and called and asked did you get my message,she goes yes we don’t need you. I said huh. she goes we needed someone to start ASAP. i said you gave me one day notice and told me to call you if i was not able to make that time and setup another day. she goes we needed someone right now. Is that some bull crap or what..
It does sound weird. Almost like they had several people in mind and took the one that could make it in the next day.
I would have assumed at as you did that being there the next day was not a requirement and that you would be able to reschelude.
